1. What data we process

To provide the service we process: your email and password (encrypted) for your account, and temporarily the content of the PDF documents you upload for analysis and redaction.

2. Documents you upload

The PDF files you upload are stored only for as long as needed to analyze them, let you review the detections, and generate the redacted document. They are automatically deleted from our servers shortly after processing or download, and no copies of the original content or the redacted document are kept long-term.

3. Personal data detection

To detect names and addresses, the text extracted from your document (not the full file) may be sent to an artificial intelligence provider for the sole purpose of identifying that data. We do not use your documents to train AI models.

4. Who we share data with

We use infrastructure providers (hosting, database, transactional email and AI-based personal data detection) that are strictly necessary to operate the service. We do not sell or share your documents with third parties for commercial purposes.

5. Security

Access to your documents is restricted to your authenticated account. Connections are made over HTTPS and we never expose your files through permanent public links.

6. Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account's personal data by contacting us through the channels listed in the legal notice.

7. User responsibility

DocuCloak is a tool that helps anonymize documents. It is the user's responsibility to review the result before downloading, sharing or using it, especially for documents with legal implications.
